He dressed him in sweats, then carried Chihiro, who stood like a lifeless doll, into the bedroom. After laying him down, Omiya tried to rise from the bed, but his sleeve was tugged. “I’ll take a shower and change, too,” he said. Even so, Chihiro only shook his head, eyes wet with tears.
