This man was Motofumi Hiromatsu, an unremarkable, taciturn, awkward, and somewhat dull employee at the same company. He’d come to pack up his things beforehand. The storage room wasn’t air-conditioned, so he opened the windows. September was nearly over, and though the days were still sweltering, the nights were cool. The air that filtered in was crisp and refreshing. At the far end of the long table in the center of the room, Tohru was flipping through an old CRUX pamphlet.
