      I wasn’t expecting much because I usually don’t read novels with kids (I’m not sure why, but I feel they’re often just used as cannon fodder). However, I was pleasantly surprised. I was really impressed by how the story made me feel—I even teared up a couple of times because it got quite emotional 😭
      It’s different from her other works, as it shows both the father’s and the son’s perspectives. Of course, there’s still Konohara’s trademark ‘I’ll just abuse this character a little bit’ element.
      We get imperfect characters, unrequited love, angst, a devoted love interest, and a surprising character development, so it’s a 10/10 for me.
